Developing from the previous post here are some visualisations of some ideas I have for my final year project.
The bars at the top will be using a scrolling LED sign which enables me to programme it to display quotes and text. I am planning for this to be reminiscent of the tube/tfl signs as this is a key element of London to me.
Although I have displayed images of the Heygate Estate, Elephant and Castle Shopping Centre and the Aylesbury Estate - I am not completely sure if these will be at the focus of my posters I have just chosen these images which I am working on as a part of a triptych series to visualise the piece. Sewn into these tapestries I will be using conductive thread and layering different line drawings of individuals who have been impacted by gentrification in Southwark/those who will quoted about their experiences on the council list. When their quote is scrolling on the LED sign they will light up. Update (31.10.2020):
